Albums
The discography of the American rock band Toto includes 13 studio albums, 4 live albums, as well as a number of compilations. Toto has released original music as well as collaborated with other artists on soundtracks and films. The band has received multiple Grammy Awards.
Before the formation of Toto the band, members performed sessions for other musicians. David Paich, the son of session drummer Marty Paich, and Jeff Porcaro (the brother of guitarist Joe Porcaro and drummer Jeff Porcaro) all played on Boz Scaggs’ 1975 album Silk Degrees. The collaboration led to the formation of Toto in the year 1976.
The band's third album, Turn Back, marked a departure from the more progressive sound of their earlier efforts and was criticized for its absence of hit singles. In 1985, lead singer Fergie Frederiksen resigned from the group and the band held auditions to find a new frontman. The band picked guitarist Steve Lukather, and recorded Fahrenheit in 1986.
Toto released Toto XX in 1998 to celebrate its 20th anniversary. The group went through old recordings and tapes to create the unique record. The album was well-received by fans, and the band embarked upon the tour with former members Bobby Kimball Steve Porcaro and Joseph Williams.
While touring for the album 40 Trips Around the Sun the drummer Leland Sklar quit the group and was replaced by Shem von Schroeck. In 2017, Toto released a double-CD live set called Falling in Between, which included recordings from the tour as well as an interview with the band.

In 1983 the band released Toto IV, which earned an international acclaim. After the album's success the group embarked on a tour around the world in support of the album. During the tour, lead vocalist Bobby Kimball was arrested on drug charges. The band decided to let him leave at the end of the tour, and they hired guitarist and singer Joseph Williams in his place. Drummer David Hungate also left the band following the tour. He was replaced by bassist Leland Sklar.
The TOTO Museum is a futuristic building that has several exhibit rooms devoted to telling the story of the company and its most innovative products. The exhibits at the museum include toilets and faucets, as well tableware that have contributed to the growth of TOTO in the past half century. The museum hosts special exhibits all throughout the year.

Toto, known for the popular song "Africa" The group recently reunited to promote their new album, All In. The album came out on November 6, 2018 and included three songs from the forthcoming 40 Trips Around the Sun, as well as completed recordings of four other older tracks that featured Jeff Porcaro on drums and either Mike or Steve Porcaro on bass. The album also included the cover of Weezer's track "Hash Pipe" which the band opted to include after hearing a version on the radio.
